Whether you call them trompe l’oeil or faux, these plastered-right-on-the-wall headboards are the three C’s: clever, cute and CHEAP!

I’m not sure about having chalk dust rain down upon my bed, but the idea of changing up the style of my headboard with just one swipe of a chalkboard eraser is very appealing! Spotted at Examiner.

We are almost finished with our pantry organization! There is only today and tomorrow to go! Isn’t that great? So far, we’ve put some good practices in place. Let us continue now and keep up the good momentum.

Now this is a front stoop. Love it…I like the rusty metal planters on either side, the stone stairs, the black front door, the lighting, and the white washed brick exterior is my dream…I like it all. I need to step up my stoop.

What do you think? Do you like this front stoop? What’s on your stoop? I like writing the word stoop…so I’m going to continue with more stoop questions. Do you even have a stoop? Would you like me to stop with the stoop?

Happy Saturday!

The visitors thoroughly deserved this win at a windy Beeston Hyrne on Saturday. Norwich played with the wind slightly in their favour in the first half, but at the end of the day the elements played little part in the result.

Wymondham relieved the pressure, but Norwich responded with a great break by skipper Jonny Wheater playing at full back, which was well supported by winger Calum Macauley who was tackled short of the line, but Wheater was there to take the ball over and touch down to give Norwich the early lead.

Call it marbling; call it painting on water. Either way the outcome makes for some very interesting art. Some examples remind me of the sky in Van Gogh’s Starry Night. The unnamed artist in the video below makes the process look rather easy. (The video is rather lengthy, so I’d let it buffer and fast forward through the ‘slow’ parts.)
